Sushi bar
An online ordering site for your sushi bar
The photo sells the platter, but it is production that gives the orders. Twenty platters at 8pm do not come off a counter with three people behind it, and a site that ignores that will put you in trouble.
€297 setup and €97 a month. No lock-in, no commission.
When production cannot keep up
You mark the platters concerned sold out, and they leave the menu for everybody. The rest carries on selling. There is no automatic quota per time slot, and for a sushi bar that is the most sensitive limit of all: we would rather you learned it here than on a Saturday at 7pm.
The big photographs
This is the trade where the picture weighs heaviest. The images are shown large and compressed so they stay quick on a phone.
The cut-off in the evening
Your opening ranges close the ordering, day by day. Fresh fish is not prepared at half past ten at night, and the site knows it before the customer does.
What you can set
Fitted to the way
you actually work
- Sold out in two clicks when production cannot keep up
- Your hours close the selling
- Assortments put together from groups of options
- Allergens and raw fish notices
- Delivery on a narrow zone, or pickup on its own
What commission costs, in your shop
A hundred orders,
average order €28
For a lot of businesses in your trade, that is an ordinary month. At the rate Uber Eats publishes when you deliver yourself, the lowest on the Belgian market, here is how it works out.
On a platform
€336
of commission a month, at 12% on €2,800 of sales
With Food It Be
€97
of subscription a month, whatever your volume
That is €2,868 staying with you over a year. Are your figures different? Run the numbers with yours.
The questions we get
Three straight answers
On a Saturday we are full by 7pm. The site has to turn orders away.
A quota per time slot does not exist, and for a sushi bar that is the most sensitive limit of all. The slots come out of your opening hours and your preparation times, in fifteen minute steps. When production cannot keep up, you mark the platters concerned sold out, or you stop the ordering with one button until midnight.
Raw fish brings legal notices with it.
The allergens and the compulsory notices attach to the products and show on the product page as well as in the basket. They follow through in French and in Dutch if you switch the three languages on.
We only deliver inside a radius of three kilometres.
The zone is defined municipality by municipality, with a minimum amount and fees of its own for each. Delivery by the kilometre is in preparation and is not shipped: today it is the list of municipalities that counts. An address outside it sees pickup and nothing else.

Try it yourself,
with nothing to install
A demo pizzeria is waiting for you, already filled in, with several years of orders behind it. You walk into it as if it were your own. Nothing to install, nothing to prepare, and nobody chases you afterwards.
