Cookies and local storage
One tool only, and nothing leaves until you have said yes. As long as you have not answered the banner, your browser contacts nothing but foodit.be.

What is there, and what is not
One tool only sets cookies on this site: Google Analytics, to know which pages are read and by what route people reach us.
There is nothing else. In particular:
- no advertising on this site, and none is planned;
- no retargeting tool, no advertising network pixel;
- no share button to a social network, no embedded video, no interactive map. These elements almost always set trackers, and we do without them;
- no font and no library loaded from a third-party server. Everything is hosted with us;
- your measurement data is neither sold nor cross-referenced with a commercial file.
Nothing leaves before you agree
This is not a turn of phrase. As long as you have not clicked ‘Accept’, Google’s script is not downloaded and no request leaves for its servers. Many sites load the tool immediately and put it ‘on standby’; that request already passes on your IP address. Here there is no request at all.
If you refuse, the site works exactly the same. No functionality is reserved for those who accept.

Measurement ID: G-E0SXJK45HP. These names and durations are the ones documented by Google; they may change as a result of its own decisions.
What Google receives
The pages viewed, the time, the page you come from, the type of device and browser, and an approximate location deduced from the IP address. We have access only to aggregated statistics, never to a list of individuals.
Google Analytics is a service of Google LLC, established in the United States. The transfer is framed by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, to which Google LLC is certified, and by the standard contractual clauses. This is information you are entitled to have before you decide, and it is the main reason the banner exists.
The choice, and how to change it
Your answer is kept in the local storage of your browser, not in a cookie. It serves only to avoid putting the question to you again on every page.
Change my choice brings the banner back, and your previous decision is erased. Withdrawing consent must be as simple as giving it.
You can also delete the cookies from your browser settings, or install the opt-out add-on that Google publishes for its own tools.
The contact form
It works without a cookie, and it does not wait for your answer to the banner. Its anti-robot protection rests on a calculation carried out in your browser, with no file set and no call to an external service, which avoids systems of the captcha type that pass your browsing data on to a foreign operator.
The details of what you send us voluntarily are set out in the privacy policy.
